The farm maintains the quality of its work by continually monitoring and evaluating itself and its services. We are interested in learning what we are doing well and doing it better. And also about what we might need to change to make sure we are meeting the needs of the variety of people who visit the farm and take part in its activities. There is also pressure on us from external organisations such as our funders and partners to show that we provide quality services and manage ourselves efficiently and effectively. We want to provide the best experience possible and we are always interested in receiving your feedback. Quality Assurance Systems We use the following Quality Assurance Systems to help raise standards of work and to make sure everything is done consistently. The Farm presented a culture where staff and volunteers are valued for their contribution, where they receive equality of access to opportunity and where there is a strong commitment to developing people to achieve their potential.
Quality in Play level 1 The club seems well advanced in the way it consults and involves children. There were many examples of consultation activities, including childrens satisfaction surveys and young farmers meetings The way in which children themselves induct new members (they are even given written guidelines on this) is another example of good practice. Green Mark level 1 ![]() Green Mark is an award scheme that enables small and medium sized businesses from any industry to demonstrate their on-going environmental improvement & commitment
