Spitalfields City Farm was originally set up by volunteers in 1978 and we still rely on volunteers today to help maintain the farm and gardens, look after the animals and assist us delivering projects.
In short, without volunteers there would be no farm. If you want to help out, here is how you can get involved:
Farmyard: We always need help on the farmyard. Fill out an application form and contact Eoin to arrange an interview, if you are up for mucking in and mucking out!
Every week:
Gardens: We hold gardening sessions twice a week. There is no need to contact us before coming along. If you are over 18, you can just drop in: Every week:
Cookery We also run regular Healthy Cooking sessions at the near-by Brady Art’s Centre. There is no need to contact us before coming along. As long as you are over 18, you can just drop in:

Meet all of the wonderful animals at Spitalfields City Farm. See each animal's profile video on the sponsorship pages of our website.
These two campbell ducks were donated to the farm in 2007, they have settled in very well and tend to hog the best spot in the duck shed at night.
