If you want to help out, here is how you can get involved:
Farmyard: We always need help on the farmyard. Fill out an application form and contact Eoin to arrange an interview, if you are up for mucking in and mucking out! Every week: Wed.–Sat. 10.00-1.00 – Adults (18+) – application Sun. 10.00-1.00 Young People (14-18) – application Tue. 10.00-1.00 Young People (16-25) – application Gardens: We hold gardening sessions twice a week. There is no need to contact us before coming along. If you are over 18, you can just drop in: Every week: Tue. 11.00-2.00 (Women Only) Wed. 11.00-2.00 (Open to All) Cookery We also run regular Healthy Cooking sessions at the near-by Brady Art’s Centre. There is no need to contact us before coming along. As long as you are over 18, you can just drop in: First Monday of the month 11.00-2.00 (open to all) Third Monday of the month 11.00-2.00 Corporate volunteer work days Located on the edge of the City of London, the Farm is an ideal spot for a team building work day. Education Volunteers: Volunteers help us deliver our education programme, both at the farm and in local schools. If you are interested in getting involved please contact our education co-ordinator Naomi. Play Volunteers: Volunteers help us deliver our play activities after school, on a Saturday and during school holidays. If you are interested in getting involved please contact our play co-ordinator Alia. Other Opportunities: Volunteers also help us with other activities including general maintenance tasks, administration and IT support. If you are interested in helping us maintain the farm and you are handy with a drill and a paint brush please contact our volunteer support worker Eoin. |
