Needle felted sheep workshop

  • Spitalfields City Farm Buxton Street London, England, E1 5AR United Kingdom (map)

Join us on Sunday 19th May for a wonderfully woolly workshop, where you’ll be guided through the process of creating a 3D needle felted sheep.

Taking place near the sheep paddock, you’ll be introduced to the living woolly models, before deciding which one to base your own needle felted creation on. Learn a new craft and hear more about the varied uses for wool, all in the peaceful setting of Spitalfields City Farm in East London.

Led by Spitalfields farmer Emma, who is passionate about our native breeds of sheep and the amazing properties of their wool. A percentage of the ticket sales will be donated to the Spitalfields City Farm fundraiser for a new farm van.

What’s included:

• Full day 3D needle felting workshop

• Meet & bleat with the sheep

• Discussion on the different sheep breeds and types of wool

• Lunch – toastie/pastry, drink and a cake from the farm café

• Help to put the sheep to bed at the end of the day

• Information to take away about where to buy materials/good online tutorials
