TOWER HAMLETS SCHOOL BURSARY SCHEME

With generous support from the Water Conservation Trust, Spitalfields City Farm is offering free guided tours to primary school classes in Tower Hamlets (Reception to Year 6, subject to availability).

We understand that cost is increasingly a barrier to school visits. We want all children in Tower Hamlets to benefit from the educational value of engaging with the farm, as well as the proven benefits that outdoor learning and contact with nature have for children’s wellbeing. To make our tours and workshops more accessible, we are offering this bursary to classes that meet the following criteria:

  • Be a state primary school in Tower Hamlets

  • Be a class of reception age or above

  • Be unable to afford to visit the farm otherwise

If the school is able to make a donation to allow the farm to continue it’s educational work, any amount would be gratefully received. We are able to offer this bursary on a first come first served basis. No more than 3 classes per school may apply.

please email : education@spitalfieldscityfarm.org to book
