On June 8th 2025, farming's annual national open day, 'Open Farm Sunday' returns!
Although we are open every Sunday anyway, we wanted to do something extra special to mark this opportunity for us to connect with our visitors and highlight the crucial work farmers do producing food, products, nurturing nature, and protecting the environment for future generations.
The Farm will be opening later than usual on June 8th, but don't worry we've made up for this by extending our hours on the other end!
Come down from 12pm to 6pm for;
Sheep shearing throughout the day, with staff onside to answer questions and teach you about our flock and their wool.
Demonstrations from heritage craftspeople such as spinners, lacemakers, weavers and more!
Children's activities
Good food and refreshing drinks
Market stalls, selling woollen goods, preserves, pottery, art, crafts and more!
Farm produce and plants for sale
The site will remain free entry, but as always donations are much appreciated and help us keep the farm going.
If you're planning to come please use the below link to reserve a free ticket - this helps us prepare for how many people to expect on the day.
